Organizational Overview

Work performed for a local bank, offering a variety of banking and lending options to its customers.  To support loan origination functions,  an enterprise software system is used by sales and operational staff.  

The Problem

The organization made the decision to migrate from a legacy on-premise loan origination system to a new cloud-based loan origination system with a new software vendor.  Due to the vast differences of the two systems, the new system required different upfront configuration during implementation.

The Solution

I was tasked with meeting with the vendor's implementation consultant to conduct organizational research tasks, configure the system to the organization's needs and update content that will display for each system user role.

Conclusion

The new system rolled out on the expected timeline without delay.   Employee feedback on the design of the system configuration was generally positive.  Loan operations were unimpacted by the migration, allowing the company to reap the benefits of increased efficiencies by having a system accessible by web browser for its staff.
