Organizational Overview

Work performed for a mid-sized bank, offering a wide variety of banking and lending options to its customers.  The platforms enhanced is an enterprise software system used by employees that support loan operations.  

The Problem

Content in the enterprise software system was outdated and templates within the system often required editing or modification before each use.

The Solution

To start, I conducted a process analysis to determine how the existing templates are used versus how they could be be used.  After conducting analysis, I determined that templates could be stacked on top of each other.  After discovering the feasibility of the system, I could then make small modifications to existing templates and add new smaller templates to combine other categories of information to a basic template.

Conclusion

The new templates resulted in time savings of roughly 5-10 minutes per loan file, translating to approximately 5% reduction in processing time per employee per loan file.
